2.  Introduction of Kathak Nritya (Dance), in 5 sentences.

3.  Introduction of yourself, Guru and center, in 5 sentences.

4.  Definitions: Laya, (Vilambit, Madhya and Drut), Matra, Sam, Tali, Khali, Vibhag and Tihayee.

 

 

Practical:

1.  Introduction of Teentaal.

2.  In Teentaal, do Tatkaar (footwork) in Barabar, Dugun and Chaugun, end with Tihayee.

3. In Teentaal, do 6 Sada Tore, 2 Chakkradar Tore and 2 Tihayee.

4. Parhant of Teentaal Theka (Clap recitation of Teentaal bol: Dha Dhin Dhin Dha…)

5. Parhant of Teentaal Theka in Barabar, Dugun and Chaugun laya.

6. Should be able to do Parhant of each and every compositions.
